These days, eating is a major cultural event, in the anthropological sense. In fact, the idea of what a society is and represents is linked to the quality of its population’s diet. The process of increasing, expanding and improving social and health services has incorporated food management as a preventive or mitigating factor in collective and personal health.

From government campaigns promoting balanced nutrition to including dieticians in all types of institutions prove that nutrition and diet are key issues in the lives of our citizens.
